Randy Hahne, Lead Pastor

I know through the scriptures and through life’s experiences that God is rich in mercy and grace. Even when I was dead in my sin, my Savior died for me. Although I was not living for Christ, He called me out of darkness and brought me into His marvelous light.

I was born near Monterey, California and due to growing up with a father in the military, we moved several times before settling in Ellendale, North Dakota. I graduated from High School in Ellendale and from there I went to Trinity Bible College. While at Trinity, I received a bachelor’s degree in Biblical Studies.

In 2005, I married my high school sweetheart, Anne, and we settled in Fargo, North Dakota. While in Fargo, I was on staff at Fargo First Assembly as the Life Group/Young Adult Pastor. Towards the last year of my time in Fargo, my wife and I felt impressed to step out and pastor a church.

In November, 2010, I became the pastor of Bethel Chapel, now known as Bethel Assembly of God. Currently, I am in the process of completing my Masters in Missional Leadership. It has been my prayer that God will continue to do great things in the lives of those who attend and that, in turn, the people of Bethel Assembly will make a mark for Christ in the communities where they live and work.

Kevin Libby, Associate Pastor

Growing up in an Army family provided a unique opportunity to experience a variety of cultures. I was born in Lemoore, California, but lived in Germany and several other states throughout my childhood. The downside to moving so much is that I rarely developed deep friendships which led to depression and thoughts of suicide. In High School we moved to Jefferson, WI, where I found the acceptance I thought I needed through a life of partying. In the fall of 1999 the course of my life was altered when God revealed the depth of my sin and showed me that He loved me in the midst of the mess I had made. I am astounded by the grace of God and grateful that it is by His grace that I can grow in my relationship with Him. In 2002, I moved to Ellendale, ND, to attend Trinity Bible College. In 2006 I graduated with a bachelor’s in Biblical Studies, with a concentration in Psychology and Counseling.
It was at Trinity that I met Charleen and at the end of our Junior year we were married. Charleen was raised on a farm near Grace City, ND, and graduated from Trinity Bible College with a Bachelor’s in Biblical Studies.

Upon graduation, we moved to Idaho for two years and then to Nebraska where we worked to establish youth ministries in the churches we attended. After spending a little over five years in Nebraska, we felt led to step down from the church we were on staff at. We came across the opening for an Associate Pastor here at Bethel and through God’s grace, we ended up accepting the position. Our heart is to see communities transformed by the grace of God working in and through people.
